Short Bio

Prof. Carmel Domshlak, joined the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management of the Technion in 2003 He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University in 2002. During 2002–2004 he was a Research Associate in the Computer Science Department at Cornell University.
Prof. Domshlak research interests are in computational and modeling problems that are fundamental to intelligent autonomous behavior such as sequential decision making and action planning, reinforcement learning, and decision procedures for machine learning.
Prof. Domshlak serves as Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management since 2017.
