Short Bio

Prof. Ariel Cohen is a faculty member in the VLSI track at the Andrew and Erna Viterbi Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where he leads the Analog Converters, Transceivers & Optics (ACTO) Research Group. His research focuses on mixed-signal integrated circuits, including the architecture, design, and validation of ultra-high-speed wireline and electro-optic transceivers, ADCs, DACs, and sensors. Before joining the Technion in 2024, he spent more than 25 years in the semiconductor industry, primarily at Intel, where he led the development of advanced SerDes technologies
