Doctor Yair Feld completed his first degree in Physics from the University of Tel Aviv. He later received his MD from the Ruth & Bruch Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel and pursued his PhD at the same institute. During this period he founded CorAssist cardiovascular that develops a novel device for heart failure with preserve ejection fraction that is currently being evaluated in a clinical trial. Dr. Feld completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Rambam Health Care Campus as well as a Cardiology fellowship at the same institution. During this period he founded Paragate Medical that develops a dedicated device for fluids removal in patients with heart failure and diuretic resistance. He then spent a two-year fellowship in Interventional cardiology at the University of Toronto. He then founded Cuspa medical that develops a new device for valvular diseases. Currently, he holds the position of senior interventional cardiologist, head of Rambam innovation center and assistant professor at the Technion’s Faculty of Medicine.
Doctor Feld’s research activities are focused on the area of medical devices and tissue engineering.
