Oren is the director of the Heart failure unit at Rambam Health Care Campus and the Head of Rambam’s Cardiovascular Research and Innovation Center.
Oren was among the pioneers to demonstrate the ability of human stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes to improve myocardial function in the infarcted myocardium and established technology for forming 3D human vascularized cardiac tissues.
Oren graduated from the prestigious program for heart failure expert training at the University of Zurich (UZH) and the European Society of Cardiology. He was also trained in advanced heart failure at UC San Diego Health.
