Short Bio

Ran El-Yaniv received the PhD degree in computer science from TorontoUniversity. He is an associate professor of computer science in the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He is aco-author of the book Online Computation and Competitive Analysis (Cambridge University Press, 1998),and member of the editorial boards of journals of the Artificial Intelligence Research and the Machine Learning Research. His research interests include machine learning, online computation, andcomputational finance.
