Short Bio

Yoav Etsion received his MSc and PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel, in 2003 and 2009. He is an Assistant Professor at the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science departments in Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. He was a Senior Researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) where he held a Juan de la Cierva Fellowship from the Ministry of Science and innovation of Spain. His research interests include computer architecture, HW/SW interoperability, operating systems, and parallel programming models. He is a member of the IEEE.
