Prof. Konstantin Kovler is the Head of the Department “Building Materials, Performance and Technology,” National Building Research Institute, Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. His research interests include high-performance cementitious materials, chemical and mineral admixtures for concrete, recycling industrial residues in construction and radioactivity of building materials. Kovler is a fellow of RILEM (International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures), editor of Materials and Structures and Cement and Concrete Composites.
