Prof. Leonid Tartakovsky is a Senior Research Fellow at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and a Director of the Technion Internal Combustion Engines Laboratory. He holds DSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Central Automobile and Automotive Engines Research Institute (NAMI) in Moscow (USSR). L. Tartakovsky serves as an Associate Editor of SAE Int. J Engines and served as a Chairman of SAE Committee on New Engines, Components, Actuators and Sensors and a member of SAE Executive Committee on Powertrains, Fuels.
