Short Bio

Elad received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Physical Electronics at Tel Aviv University in 2012. He spent the next 9 months as a Postdoc Fellow in the Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) at Brookhaven National Laboratory, NY, USA. He then relocated to the Physics of Nanoscale Systems group of the Science & Technology Department at IBM Research Zurich, Switzerland were his main research is focused on the nanoscale electromechanical properties of graphene and other 2-dimensional (2D) layered materials.

From August 1st 2017 he will be heading the Laboratory for Nanoscale Electronic Materials and Devices in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Technion.
